Project Osisi is a regenerative initiative (nonprofit) combating deforestation, promoting climate change awareness, and restoring ecosystems through community-led tree-planting festivals. We are leveraging ancient Igbo festivals and Web3 tools to empower nature stewards to coordinate on-ground tree-planting events with real-time data and impact reports. Our planting sites include schools, coastal villages, and climate-affected communities in Nigeria. Through the help of Gitcoin grant and ReFi Lagos, we have funded a 1040-SQM pilot tree garden in Lagos, nursed and distributed over 500 tree seedlings. Check out our past festival video, impact report, and on-chain activities on Karma Gap. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EfUu75MyY4 https://tinyurl.com/OSISI-Impact-Report https://www.karmahq.xyz/project/project-osisi Our Team Simon Ezeji, Founder Adaeze Okafor, Program Manager Dennis Okenwa, Event Coordinator OSISI.EARTH
