WALKING WATER is an invitation, an action, an educational journey and a prayer intended to bring our voices, our stories, our commitment to our local and global watersheds through the act of walking together, following the waterways both natural and human-made. Our main focus area is Payahuunadü/Owens Valley and Tovaangar/Los Angeles, California - the site of one of the most contentious and on-going water conflicts in the world. We hold Walks of Resilience and Accountability, host and produce a podcast called Talking Water, and compile books (Waters Rising and Waters Becoming).
